Aerial Photography Services
Aerial Photography Services is a leading UK producer of precision B&W and color aerial photography for business, industry and government. Our clientele includes the Federal Government, counties, cities, engineering firms and major regional corporations as well as numerous local businesses. We have demonstrated our ability to produce precision aerial photography for a variety of needs.
Our staff experience in aerial photography, mission planning and postflight production extends back over thirty
years. We have committed ourselves to produce only the most superior aerial photography possible. To increase our versatility and enhance capabilities, our flight crews are cross trained. Primary pilots operate the camera system and photographers are licensed pilots.
In order to provide our clients with the highest quality possible in aerial photography today, we use the most advanced aerial camera system available in the world.
Unlike older sophisticated cameras commonly used, the Wild RC-30 has forward motion compensation (FMC) which stops apparent motion thereby making the image as sharp as if the aircraft was not moving. Additionally, our camera is acknowledged to have one of the sharpest lenses in the country. We have developed the capability to produce 100 times the enlargements from our film. Normally 15 to 20 times is the maximum. Our film shows virtually no grain at all at extreme magnification.
Your film is processed in an aerial film processor, not by hand. This insures that your film is perfectly processed consistent with exposure and not subject to the problems of hand processing. Our photo lab is state of the art with enlargements on a Drust Closed Loop, Auto Focus Color Enlarger. Contact prints and diapositives are produced with the EGOL Tronics Mark V Contact Printer. Whether your needs are for precision mapping, stock aerial photos of United Kingdom, engineering coverage, B&W or color enlargements or advertising obliques, we have the skill, experience and know-how to fill all of your aerial photographic needs.
The Largs and Millport Weekly News is putting its archive of old black and white photos online at our facebook page and is already jogging the memories of readers.
